Western Maryland just as our nation is hurting and battling the health and economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the generations of injustices endured by African Americans in this country and region. The WMCDC leadership stood with our community members andpartners who rallied to take action to support the food insecure and those lacking the basic needs to survive the pandemic. We now stand in solidarity alongside our brothers and sisters who have raised a unified voice against police brutality, racism, bigotry, and the injustice experienced by African Americans in our country.
